About Us

We are opening a new Japanese restaurant in the heart of Edmonton’s Ice District, built around a deep love and respect for Japanese food and cooking. Our menu has been designed by Masaki Saito, bringing a thoughtful, ingredient-driven approach to Japanese cuisine. Alongside our specialty Udon, the restaurant will have a strong focus on hambagu (Japanese-style Hamburg steak) cooked over the grill, as well as a selection of Japanese Izakaya-style small plates.

We are looking for people who are genuinely excited about Japanese food—not just looking for another restaurant job.

Depending on your position and experience, responsibilities may include
- Preparing and cooking authentic Japanese dishes




- Working the Udon station and learning proper Japanese noodle preparation
- Grilling hambagu to order and maintaining consistent quality
- Preparing Izakaya-style small plates
- Ingredient preparation, portioning, and mise en place
- Following recipes and preparation standards precisely
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workstation
- Working efficiently during busy service periods
- Supporting other stations when needed
- Learning Japanese cooking techniques and ingredients
- Helping create a welcoming experience for our guests
- Maintaining the high standards expected of a new restaurant built around Japanese cuisine
