We are seeking a part-time/freelance Liquor Demonstrator to represent premium wines and spirits at Vancouver International Airport (YVR). This role is perfect for someone who is knowledgable about wines and/or spirits, enjoys speaking with people, and thrives in a luxury retail environment.
This is an active sales role. We need someone outgoing, confident, polished, and proactive who is comfortable approaching travelers and educating them on wines and premium spirits.
Key Requirements
- Retail sales background, ideally in liquor, duty free, or high end retail
- Polished and professional image
- Serving It Right certification or equivalent
- Hospitality industry experience is a plus
- Energetic, sales driven mindset
- Strong communication skills and an engaging personality
- Ability to work well with store teams and follow in-store protocols
- Mandarin-speaking highly preferred - additional languages are a plus
What You Will Do
- Represent top wine and spirits brands inside YVR duty free stores
- Offer tastings and share product knowledge
- Support in-store teams in driving overall wine and spirits category sales
- Maintain merchandising standards and monitor stock
- Track daily sales results and follow all compliance guidelines
