Summary
We are seeking an experienced Logging Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of log hauling experience and be committed to safety and efficiency in all operations. This is a union position offering competitive pay and comprehensive advantages.
Responsibilities
- Operate a logging truck to transport logs from the harvesting site to processing facilities.
- Ensure the safe and efficient loading and unloading of logs.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during operations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Maintain accurate records of logs transported and comply with all regulatory requirements.
- Work collaboratively with the yard crew and other team members.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of log truck driving experience.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (Class 1) required.
- Strong knowledge of logging industry practices and regulations.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing schedules.
- Must be physically fit and able to handle the demands of the job.
- Quad experience an asset
