Duties
- Safely operate commercial trucks over long distances, following all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Manage freight documentation accurately, including delivery logs and shipment paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate deliveries and pickups
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving, especially long-haul routes
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols
- Robust communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients effectively
- Physical ability to load, unload, and secure freight efficiently
