Duties
Safely operate delivery vans and commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
Load, organize, and secure packages in the vehicle
Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule, maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism
Communicate clearly with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues promptly
Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and keep the vehicle clean and organized
Use handheld scanners/mobile devices to scan packages and update delivery status
Manage multiple deliveries efficiently while meeting daily delivery targets
Experience
Prior experience in commercial driving or delivery services preferred
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Experience delivering packages safely and on time
Solid knowledge of local routes and GPS navigation
Good communication and customers service skills
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes
Knowledge of safety procedures related to moving goods, operating vehicles, and warehouse environments
