Lead educational programs at the Centre for Sustainable Food Systems (CSFS) at UBC Farm. As the Children and Youth Education Coordinator, you will create impactful learning experiences focused on sustainability.
In this role, you will coordinate diverse educational activities, including summer camps, workshops, and field trips, ensuring their delivery is protected and engaging for children and youth. Collaborating with the CSFS Education Team, you will develop curriculum, oversee budgets, and manage operations.
This position requires robust leadership and communication skills to nurture partnerships with schools and communities, fostering an inclusive workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver seasonal and year-round educational programming
Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculums
Manage program logistics, including budgeting and scheduling
Supervise staff, students, and volunteers effectively
Evaluate program effectiveness through feedback and data analysis
Requirements:
University degree in a relevant field
Two years of experience in educational coordination
Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion
Strong leadership and communication skills
Knowledge of child safety regulations
