This apprenticeship offers on-the-job training, where you will learn to maintain commercial vehicles according to DOT regulations. As a Level 3 apprentice under Skilled Trades Ontario, you will assist mechanics with repairs while documenting important maintenance paperwork and ensuring compliance with company safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and minor repairs
• Conduct vehicle safety inspections and report issues
• Assist skilled mechanics with various repair projects
• Maintain a clean work area per OSHA standards
• Help manage inventory and use the M5 program
Requirements:
• Be a registered Level 3 apprentice with Skilled Trades Ontario
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance tools and techniques
