Rakotta Holdings, a family-owned business, is looking for doorman/security guards for part-time weekend overnight shifts in high-rise apartment buildings located in the heart of downtown Montreal. Tenants are mainly young professionals and students.
As a doorman, you’ll become the public face of our property for our existing tenants. This exciting chance will appeal to individuals that enjoy customer service. You will maintain a secure and safe environment while providing residents with polite services.
We are looking for a friendly, sociable and energetic person who will be able to work independently as well as with his/her head of department. You must be reliable, punctual, organized and have a keen eye for detail. Experience in a similar position is an asset.
Tasks and responsabilities:
· Enforce building rules & regulations
· Prepare short daily reports
· Monitor CCTV cameras and perform rounds throughout the entire building to ensure a safe environment
· Log in deliveries
· Assist tenants with lost keys,
elevator reservations and package deliveries
· Perform all tasks required by your supervisor
Requirements and qualifications :
· High school diploma (required)
· Certificate in first aid (asset)
· Experience in customer service (asset )
· Experience as a doorman or security guard (asset )
· An adaptable personality & positive attitude
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Thoroughness and professionalism
· A friendly, professional demeanor
· Must be bilingual (required)
· Basic knowledge of Excel and Word
