Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean and effective workspace will contribute to the overall success of our café.

Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for order processing and payment transactions.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and dining spaces.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions regarding menu items.




Manage time effectively during peak hours to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive work workplace and enhance customer experiences.

Experience
Previous experience in the food service or coffee industry is preferred but not required.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety standards is an asset.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a quick-paced workplace.
A friendly demeanor with excellent communication skills to engage with customers effectively.
