Job Description- Educational Assistant (1.0 FTE)
Commences ASAP - Hours of work will be 7:30am to 3:00pm
Responsible for assisting learners with learning challenges and supporting their programme
Understands the Middle Years Programme ideology (IB World School)
Provide support for learning activities and differentiation
Liaise with relevant professionals on goals,
programs and strategies to be used to support learning
Supports and takes direction from the classroom teacher
Assist in cooperative planning with homeroom teachers and IB Coordinator
Works as a supervisor on the intercampus bus for the morning route
Qualifications and Experience
Completion of Education Assistant program (diploma or certificate)
First Aid Training
Full Criminal Record Clearance, endorsement to work with children
Experience in middle years education is an asset
