W. Eric Whebby Limited is hiring experienced pipelayers for water main, sewer, and underground utility work throughout the HRM area.

If you know your way around a trench, can grade pipe, run a saw, pack gravel, and keep production moving — we want to hear from you.

We’re looking for reliable people who show up ready to work, work secure, and take pride in putting in quality underground infrastructure.

What You’ll Be Doing
Installing and aligning pipe
Working on sewer, storm and water main projects
Assisting with excavation and site prep
Cutting pipe and asphalt/concrete as needed
Operating tampers and working around heavy equipment
Loading/unloading materials and keeping the site moving safely

What You Bring
Minimum 3 years underground/pipelayer experience
Experience with water mains and sewer installation




Comfortable working in trenches and around heavy equipment
Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
Confined Space, WHMIS, and First Aid certifications
Able to handle physically demanding work
Steel-toed boots
