We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Server with basic bar knowledge to join our team for the busy summer season. Our restaurant is located in a hotel in downtown Nanaimo, and we thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. We are looking for someone who is open to working both daytime and evening shifts.

Who You Are:
You have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
You thrive in a high-energy, team-oriented setting.
You have experience in a high-volume restaurant (hotel experience is a bonus).
You’re flexible and open to both day and night shifts.
You bring a positive attitude and solid work ethic.
Responsibilities:
Greet and serve guests promptly, professionally, and courteously.
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to spec when no bartender on duty
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas.
Ensure compliance with food safety and handling standards.
Efficiently operate the POS system for order entry and cash handling.
Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely service.
Manage time effectively during peak hours to ensure all guests are well cared for.
