Nimoosh Grooming & Boutique is looking for a dog bather! We are an Indigenous-owned salon in the east end and want to add a recent member to our team.

Duties will include:
Bathing and drying dogs, including fluff drying
Assisting the groomers with handling dogs
Maintaining the cleanliness of the bathing and grooming areas (vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, disinfecting tubs and tables, cleaning windows, etc.)
Refilling and organizing grooming supplies (shampoo, conditioner, etc.)
Cutting nails and deshedding coats
Taking out garbage and recycling

Requirements/Qualifications:
Ability to lift 50+ pounds
Available to work weekends
Comfortable around dogs of all breeds, ages and sizes
Lots of patience

Is a quick-thinker and problem solver
Is relatively active and can stand all day




Experience with double-coated dogs in particular is an asset
