Farm Hand – Broiler Chicken Farm

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Farm Hand to assist the Farm Manager with the day-to-day operations of a broiler chicken farm.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in keeping a farm clean and well maintained, and is comfortable with a variety of physical tasks.

Responsibilities
Assist the Farm Manager with the daily care and management of broiler chickens
Help maintain clean, safe, and well-organized farm facilities
Perform farm cleaning duties, including pressure washing and general cleaning and sanitation
Assist with routine farm maintenance and upkeep
Perform light repairs and basic maintenance as needed
Help with general farm tasks and other duties as required
Follow farm biosecurity, safety, and animal-care procedures

Qualifications & Skills
Previous farm or agricultural experience is preferred
Poultry or livestock experience is an asset
Reliable, responsible, and willing to learn




Able to work independently as well as follow direction from the Farm Manager
Comfortable performing physical work, including some lifting, carrying, bending, and other physically demanding tasks
Basic mechanical or repair skills are an asset
Robust attention to cleanliness, safety, and animal welfare
