Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and productive Sandwich Maker to join our dynamic food service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious sandwiches and other menu items in a fast-paced setting, ensuring high-quality food and excellent customer service. Duties
Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to established recipes and customer specifications
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and serving areas
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
Manage multiple orders efficiently while adhering to time management best practices
Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to meet safety standards
Assist with food prep tasks such as slicing, portioning, and packaging ingredients
Provide friendly and attentive customer service during order taking and serving
Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies,



notifying management of shortages

Requirements
Previous experience in food preparation or food service preferred; restaurant experience is a plus
Knowledge of POS systems, including Micros POS, for cashiering and order processing
Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper handling procedures
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards customer service
Kitchen or food industry experience is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
