Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Low-rise Forming Specialist to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing the foundational structures of low-rise buildings, ensuring precision and quality throughout the process. Your expertise in concrete forming, rebar installation, carpentry, and heavy equipment operation will be essential to delivering durable and secure structures.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential to commercial low-rise developments, contributing to the creation of high-quality built environments.

Responsibilities

- Set up and assemble concrete forms accurately according to blueprints and schematics, ensuring stability and proper alignment.
- Install rebar reinforcement within forms to strengthen concrete structures, adhering to safety standards and engineering specifications.
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, or compactors safely to facilitate material handling and form installation.
- Perform carpentry tasks including cutting, shaping, and fitting form panels using hand tools and power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise formwork layouts.
- Assist with masonry work, drywall installation, caulking, flooring setup, and restoration tasks as needed during project phases.
- Conduct concrete pouring, finishing, and curing processes while maintaining quality control standards.




- Support renovation projects by removing old forms or damaged structures with proper safety procedures.
- Use welding skills for structural adjustments or repairs when required on formwork or related components.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations by wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safety protocols at all times.

Experience

- Proven construction experience with a focus on low-rise building projects or similar environments.
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
- Hands-on experience in rebar installation, concrete forming, masonry, drywall, flooring installation, and restoration work.
- Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., hammers, chisels) and power tools (e.g., drills, saws) effectively and safely.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately for precise formwork setup.
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices for heavy lifting and working at heights.
- Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is valued.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions while maintaining a proactive approach on-site.
