Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various machine tools to produce precision parts and components. Your expertise in CNC machinery, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will be essential in ensuring high-quality output and effective production processes.

Responsibilities

- Operate CNC lathe, CNC milling machines, and manual machine tools with precision and safety.
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models using SolidWorks or similar software.
- Program CNC machines utilizing G-code, Fanuc, Mazatrol, or other control systems to produce complex parts.
- Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Use hand tools, calipers, power tools, welding equipment, and other machining instruments to assemble and modify parts as needed.
- Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
- Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, inspection results, and machine settings.

Qualifications





- Proven experience operating CNC machines such as CNC lathes and CNC milling machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machine issues quickly.
- Proficiency in CNC programming languages including G-code and familiarity with Fanuc or Mazatrol controls.
- Skilled in reading blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with CAD software like SolidWorks or other design tools for part review and modifications.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and adjustments during machining processes.
- Experience using calipers, hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and forklift operation is preferred.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices to promote continuous improvement within production workflows.
