We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Developer with strong experience in IBM Mainframe technologies. The candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, maintaining, and supporting mainframe applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and perform impact analysis.
- Develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications.
- Work on batch and online applications.
- Create and maintain batch jobs, procedures, and utilities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and application defects.
- Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders.
- Support application releases and post-production activities.
- Prepare technical and support documentation.
Required Skills
- Solid experience in IBM Mainframe / zOS environments.
- Experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and VSAM.
- Experience in application development, enhancement, and production support.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and release processes.
- Experience with TSO/ISPF.
