Maintenance Technician

Location:

Imagine Cinemas - Toronto and Greater Toronto Area

Position Description:

The key responsibilities of a Maintenance Technician are:

· Repair and maintain luxury recliner seats (removal, replacement, install)

· Patch and paint walls

· Repair and clean carpets and tiles

· Replace light fixtures (bulbs, emergency exit signs)

· Light carpentry work (baseboards, cupboards, cabinets, shelving)

· Hang and anchor fixtures on walls

· Mount TV screens

· Make door adjustments (swing speed, latch adjustments)

· Plumbing (leaks, clogs, flush valves, sinks)

Required Skills and Competencies:

· Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (oral and written)

· Ability to multi-task as well as manage and prioritize tasks and activities

· Highly motivated and able to work independently





· Demonstrated ability to take initiative and problem solve

· Strong attention to detail

· Highly responsible and reliable

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and operate at heights

Required Experience:

· 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a theatre, fast-food, restaurant or similar environment

Required Education:

· Secondary School Diploma or equivalent

· Certificate or diploma in a skilled trade or facility maintenance is an asset

Job Type:

· Permanent, full-time, salary

MUST be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays.

MUST be able to travel to all cinemas within Toronto and the Greater Toronto area.

Pay: $48,000.00-$56,000.00 per year
