- Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the seafood processing plant
- Maintain and repair processing equipment, machinery, and facility systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections
- Assist with plumbing, welding, carpentry, and other general maintenance work as required
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform repairs in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and secure work environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in industrial or commercial maintenance is preferred
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Welding experience is an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, responsible, and safety-conscious
- Experience in a food processing or seafood processing facility is an asset
