Responsibilities
Assist in food preparation by chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients according to recipes and standards
Support cooking activities by following established procedures for meal assembly and presentation
Ensure all food handling practices adhere to safety and hygiene regulations to maintain high standards of food safety
Serve meals to customers efficiently, ensuring prompt and friendly service that enhances the dining experience
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies
Follow proper food storage procedures to prevent contamination and waste
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders during busy periods
Experience
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided
Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen safety protocols is advantageous
Knowledge of food handling regulations and best practices for maintaining hygiene standards is a plus
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
