Motel Manager / Housekeeper

Tumbleweed Motel – Cache Creek, BC
Full-Time Position

Tumbleweed Motel in Cache Creek is looking for a reliable, responsible, and hardworking person to manage the day-to-day motel operations while also performing housekeeping duties.

Responsibilities
Manage front desk and guest check-ins/check-outs
Answer phone calls and handle reservations
Manage bookings from online booking platforms
Provide friendly and qualified customer service
Collect and process guest payments
Clean guest rooms after check-out and during longer stays
Change bedding and towels and clean bathrooms
Vacuum/mop floors and maintain room cleanliness
Keep the office, laundry area, and common areas clean
Wash, dry, fold, and organize motel linens
Check rooms for maintenance problems and report any issues
Keep track of basic motel supplies
Help ensure the motel property remains clean and presentable




Handle basic guest concerns and day-to-day motel operations

Requirements
Reliable, honest, and able to work independently
Good communication and customer-service skills
Comfortable using a computer and managing online reservations
Able to perform housekeeping and physical cleaning duties
Previous motel/hotel management, front-desk, or housekeeping experience is an asset
Must be willing to perform both motel management and housekeeping duties
