Responsibilities
Prepare, bake, and decorate a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts with precision and flair
Develop recent recipes and presentation styles to keep our menu fresh and exciting
Ensure all baked goods meet high standards of quality, taste, and visual appeal
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station in compliance with food safety regulations
Handle food preparation tasks efficiently, including measuring ingredients and assembling finished products
Package baked items attractively for display or take-out orders
Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate service times and fulfill customer orders promptly
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role within the food industry, preferably in a restaurant setting
Strong skills in cake decorating, baking techniques, and food presentation
Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent customer service skills to ensure guest satisfaction
Experience with food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations
Familiarity with packaging baked goods for retail or catering purposes
