Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items, assisting in meal preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This role offers an chance to develop culinary skills within a fast-paced restaurant setting, ensuring excellent food service and safety standards are upheld at all times.

Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and assist in the assembly of menu items
according to recipes and presentation standards
Cook and plate dishes efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency
Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to ensure hygiene and sanitation
Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking equipment throughout shifts
Support the kitchen team during busy periods to ensure timely service
Adhere to all restaurant policies regarding food handling, storage, and safety protocols

Skills




Proven experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment
Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Excellent skills in food industry practices including kitchen organization and cleanliness
Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure smooth kitchen operations
Knowledge of restaurant experience preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work efficiently under pressure

Shifts are for evening shifts 4 PM to close

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
