Location: Truro, NS (and surrounding areas)
Schedule: PART TIME - Monday through Friday (weekends as needed)

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Vacuum and High-Pressure Water Blasting Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work with industrial vacuum trucks and high-pressure water blasting units, performing cleaning operations in heavy industrial settings. A valid G Class driver’s license is required.

Key Responsibilities:
Working at the end of vacuum trucks and high-pressure water blasting equipment
Perform cleaning of industrial facilities and equipment (hazardous and non-hazardous materials)
Work both independently and as part of a team on various job sites
Drive Class 5 vehicles to and from job sites
CLASS 3 IS AN ASSET WITH INCREASE IN PAY RATE*
Assist with loading/unloading equipment and materials
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures
Participate in Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHA)
Maintain site cleanliness and perform housekeeping tasks

Work Environment:
Exposure to a variety of environmental conditions such as heat, cold, dust, dirt, mud, water, and noise
Work may involve heights and confined spaces
Outdoor and indoor job sites





Requirements:
Valid Class 5 driver’s license
Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (hot, cold, dirty, wet, etc.)
Solid work ethic and willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed
Safety-focused with the ability to follow procedures
Previous experience with vacuum or water blasting equipment is an asset, but we are willing to train
