We’re building a skilled garage door installation and service company serving Halifax and surrounding areas, and we’re looking for a Garage Door Installer to join our team.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is dependable, works well with customers, and wants the chance to grow with a company from the ground up.
What You'll Do
Install residential and commercial garage doors
Install garage door openers and accessories
Diagnose and repair garage door systems
Replace springs, cables, rollers, tracks and hardware
Perform preventative maintenance and service calls
Complete new-construction and replacement installations
Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and work area
Provide professional, friendly service to customers
Follow company safety and installation procedures
What We're Looking For
Garage door experience is preferred, but we're willing to consider mechanically inclined candidates with strong construction experience.
You should have:
Strong mechanical aptitude
Construction or installation experience
Ability to use hand and power tools confidently
Good problem-solving skills
Attention to detail
Professional attitude and appearance
Valid driver's licence
Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
A commitment to safety and quality workmanship
