Duties
Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages to various destinations within your assigned route
Load and unload packages using proper lifting techniques, including heavy items that require physical effort
Navigate efficiently using GPS and maps to ensure timely deliveries
Communicate clearly with customers during drop-offs, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns
Conduct routine vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards and report any maintenance needs
Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during deliveries
Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip
Skills
Ability to move packages of varying sizes, including heavy lifting when necessary
Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment is a plus but not required; training can be provided
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, qualified attitude
Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with inventory handling is advantageous
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent driving credentials preferred but not mandatory; safe driving record essential
Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
