As a Carpenter, you will contribute to the construction and renovation of residential projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard.
Execute flooring installation projects, ensuring proper alignment and secure fitting.
Install siding materials on buildings, maintaining aesthetic appeal and structural integrity.
Assemble furniture and cabinetry according to specifications.
Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various carpentry tasks.
Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements and specifications.
Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
Proficient in building structures using various materials.
Knowledge of flooring installation methods for different types of flooring materials.
Familiarity with siding installation practices for both aesthetic and functional purposes.
Skills in installing wood finishes
Competence in using hand tools such as saws, hammers, drills, and levels effectively.
Excellent blueprint reading skills to interpret technical drawings accurately.
