Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Long Haul Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight across long distance (Toronto- Winnipeg- Alberta runs) while ensuring the safety and security of the cargo. This role requires a solid commitment to adhering to all transportation regulations and maintaining high standards of professionalism on the road.

Duties
Operate commercial vehicles to transport freight over long distances, ensuring timely delivery.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, rest periods, and cargo details as required by law.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, routes, and any issues encountered on the road.
Ensure that all cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.




Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
Provide excellent customer service during pickups and deliveries.

Requirements
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Proven 1 year experience in commercial driving, particularly in long haul transportation.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while on long trips.
Robust communication skills for interaction with dispatchers and customers.
Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policies.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: Up to $85,000.00 per year

Experience:
Commercial driving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
Class 1 Licence (preferred)

Work Location: On the road
