Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Tire Delivery Driver to join our wholesale team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting tires to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, robust communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Responsibilities
Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and any incidents.
Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including moving items and operating forklifts.
Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the delivery vehicle.
Qualifications
Valid class 5 PEI license
Previous experience in commercial driving or delivery services is a plus.
Solid customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with team members and customers.
Experience in warehouse operations is beneficial, including familiarity with forklift operation.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job.
