Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting pharmacists and ensuring the efficient operation of the pharmacy. This position involves interacting with patients, managing medication inventory, and assisting with various pharmacy tasks to enhance patient care in the pharmacy settings.
Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining inventories of medication and prescription records of pharmaceutical products.
Ensure the prescription records have accurate information and enter client information in the database. (Fillware system)
Bill insurance companies.
Answer phone calls, emails or customer inquiries in a skilled manner.
Handling payment transactions through POS system.
Requirements
Must be able to speak both Mandarin and Cantonese.
previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or Pharmacy Technician is preferred but not required. (Fillware system knowledge is not required).
Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Attention to detail and solid organizational skills are essential for managing medication inventory effectively.
