Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Shawarma Store Employee to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious shawarma, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a clean and efficient food service setting. Responsibilities
Prepare and assemble shawarma and other menu items according to established recipes and standards
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
Manage customer transactions accurately and efficiently while providing friendly service
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food preparation area and dining space in compliance with food safety standards
Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly
Follow all sanitation and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers
Experience
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Familiarity with POS systems
Experience with cashiering, food handling, and basic math skills for accurate transactions is advantageous
Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is desirable
Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
Ability to work in a rapid-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and excellent customer service skills
