We are looking for a friendly, compassionate, and organized Receptionist to be the first point of contact for The Wellington. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with seniors and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A healthcare background or experience working with seniors would be a strong asset.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet and assist residents, clients, families, visitors, and staff in a warm and skilled manner
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails
- Provide information and assistance to seniors and their families with patience and compassion
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties
- Maintain an organized, professional, and welcoming reception area
- Assist with data entry, filing, photocopying, and document preparation
- Respond to inquiries and direct questions to the appropriate staff members




- Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy and dignity of residents and clients
- Support staff and management with administrative tasks as required

Qualifications

- Previous receptionist, customer service, or administrative experience
- Experience working with seniors is highly desirable
- Healthcare experience or a healthcare-related background would be considered a strong asset
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach when working with seniors
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, friendly, and positive attitude
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications
- Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
