About the role We're looking for a Data Scientist II to join our growing team!Responsibilities Develop innovative solutions using machine learning and advanced statistical methods to identify trends and patterns in complex datasets.Transform complex datasets into actionable insights and recommendations that drive the business strategy.Stay current with the latest trends and methodologies in AI, analyze metrics from AI tool usage, and maintain dashboards to track insights over time.Assist in maintaining and improving data mining tools and platforms to ensure their efficiency and reliability.Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to support decision‐making processes.Collaborate closely with other departments to promote adoption of data‐driven decision‐making across the organization.Validate the quality of analytical approaches and outputs from other team members and departments to ensure high standards.Qualifications Degree in a relevant discipline (mathematics, engineering, operations research, statistics, geomatics, AI) or equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum of 2 years of experience in advanced statistics, data mining, and text mining.Proficiency in multiple platforms, including commercial and open‐source data mining frameworks such as Python and GitHub.Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs)—integrating with APIs and evaluation techniques.Deep understanding of machine learning theories and methodologies.Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.Problem‐solving skills—ability to tackle vaguely defined problems with creative and innovative solutions.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal,
