The Operations Coordinator supports purchasing, logistics, inside sales and warehouse operations in a fast‑paced environment.Main ResponsibilitiesPurchasing & Vendor ManagementAssist in sourcing, purchasing, and order placement of materials and equipmentCoordinate with suppliers on pricing, availability, and delivery timelinesTrack purchase orders and ensure timely receipt of goodsManage inventory write‑downs with the manager to minimize financial impactAnalyze and correct inventory discrepancies quicklyEvaluate new products and product lines with the Business Centre Manager and salespeople, and recommend themMaintain integrity of special SKU costs in the system and keep supplier data up‑to‑dateCreate recent stock SKUs when neededLogistics & Inventory CoordinationPlan and coordinate inbound and outbound shipmentsWork with freight carriers and logistics partners to ensure cost‑effective deliveryMonitor inventory levels and assist in stock replenishment planningOrganize shipment paperwork for international shipments and cooperate with brokers for timely clearanceBook pick‑ups for local and cross‑border shipmentsObtain quotes and arrange shipments with freight forwardersMonitor shipments until final deliveryReview freight invoices and resolve claims for damaged shipmentsInside Sales SupportRespond to customer inquiries and provide product/service informationPrepare quotes, process sales orders, and follow up with customersSupport the sales team with administrative and coordination tasksWarehouse SupportAssist with receiving, organizing, and tracking inventoryEnsure accurate documentation of incoming and outgoing materialsSupport periodic inventory counts and reconciliationQualifications3+ years of experience in operations, logistics, purchasing, or inside salesStrong organizational and multitasking skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); ERP experience is an assetExcellent communication and problem‑solving abilitiesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred SkillsExperience in supply chain or distribution environmentsFamiliarity with inventory management systemsCustomer service or inside sales experienceKey CompetenciesAttention to detailTime management and prioritizationAdaptability and willingness to learnStrong work ethic and accountabilityBenefitsAnnual profit‑sharing for all employeesGroup insurance plan customizable to your needsFree health resources 24/7: Telemedicine and Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Group RRSP with employer contribution and TFSAPostsecondary Scholarship Program for employees’ childrenCharging terminals available at facilitiesYears of Service Recognition ProgramOur recruitment process ensures equality and diversity.#J-18808-Ljbffr
