The Supervisor provides leadership, direction, and supervision to team members and ensures services comply with all legislative, regulatory, and accreditation requirements. Working collaboratively with staff, supported individuals, families, and community partners, the Supervisor ensures high-quality, person-centered services are delivered within defined resources and operational requirements. All employees are responsible for promoting and implementing Ongwanada’s mission, vision, values, and service principles, and for fulfilling responsibilities in accordance with all applicable legislation, policies, and procedures.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesLeadership & SupervisionSupervise and provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and direction to team membersSupport recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and staff development initiativesMonitor staff training and ensure completion of mandatory education requirementsSupport employee relations matters and workplace investigations as requiredDirect and coach staff in the implementation of crisis intervention strategiesSupport students and placement learnersClient Supports & OutcomesManage client admissions and support planning processesEnsure implementation and review of behavioural support plans and related documentationEnsure appropriate client documentation is completed and maintainedSupport communication with families, supported individuals,
and community partnersLiaise with external agencies to coordinate and implement supportsResource ManagementReview financial and operational records for accuracy and complianceAssist in monitoring budgets and expendituresIdentify and address discrepancies in accordance with policies and proceduresSupport effective use of agency resourcesOperationsEnsure work sites are appropriately resourced and maintainedCoordinate transportation needs and ensure vehicle maintenance requirements are completedEnsure compliance with agency standards, policies, and applicable legislationComplete CQI reports and departmental planning requirementsParticipate in administrator-on-call rotation as requiredHost Family ServicesCoordinate recruitment and screening activities for Host Family providersSupport provider matching based on client goals, needs, and interestsCoordinate training, support, and ongoing engagement activities for Host Family providersConduct annual unannounced provider visits and address concerns as requiredCommunication & CollaborationCommunicate expectations, outcomes, and information effectively with staff and stakeholdersParticipate in clinical and organizational meetingsFoster collaborative working relationships with internal and external partnersDuties and responsibilities may change or vary based on operational requirements and/or as directed.Skills RequiredDemonstrate effective interpersonal skills to direct, supervise, coach and lead the work of others.Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrate effective documentation, organization, and administrative skills to manage resources, meet deadlines and other requirements.Demonstrate competent technological skills, use of data, related software.Demonstrate effective problem solving,
