Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and assist them with menu selections, upselling specials and beverages to enhance their experience
Take accurate food and drink orders using Micros POS or other point-of-sale systems
Prepare and serve food items efficiently, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments swiftly
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling surfaces in compliance with food safety standards
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries promptly and professionally
Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure timely service
Manage time effectively during busy periods to deliver prompt service without sacrificing quality
Experience
Prior food service experience in a restaurant or similar setting is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or equivalent is a plus
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating bills accurately
Knowledge of food safety procedures, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
Experience with serving in fast-paced environments that demand excellent time management skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude
Previous kitchen or food industry experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
