We are an urban mill and bakery located in Liberty Village. We take premium Canadian grown grains, stone mill them onsite and use it fresh in our bread that we bake in store daily.

We offer a selection of prepared sandwiches on our fresh bread, a wide variety of pastries, and fresh coffee from our full espresso program.

Full Job Description:

We are looking for a friendly and energetic individual to join our cash and toast bar service. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about sourdough breads, pastries, coffee, and food in general. They will have experience in both customer service and food preparation/assembly.They will provide excellent customer service and thrive in a fast paced setting.

Responsibilities:
Take customer orders accurately while providing professionalism and exceptional service
Move efficiently and with intent to stock items ie bread/pastries, and provide support to other staff
Assemble sandwiches and toasts that are made to order and ensuring all food products that are going out are held to our standard




Prep all necessary components and ingredients for sandwiches and ensuring the correct portions and measurements
Follows all food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the safety of products
Opening and closing the store, maintaining cleanliness for the work area throughout the shift

Requirements:
Must have previous experience in a cafe, bistro, or restaurant setting
Ability to handle high customer volume during peak hours, without compromising customer service or food preparation.
Solid organizational skills with an eye for detail
Outstanding communication with both the staff as well as customers, to ensure flawless flow of order output
Must be able to multitask and prioritize tasks based on urgency
