We are currently looking for experienced CNC Set-up Technicians/CNC Operators for Day shift. This prospect is a permanent role with a great company located in Fergus, Ontario.

These positions require effective setup of CNC machines, Operations and completing first offs. This is done by following all safe work practices and maintaining a safe work environment.

Primary Responsibilities:
Perform set ups on existing jobs and Operation , recent work and samples from drawings & blue prints some programming of new jobs may be required.
Set ups on existing jobs will be done within specified timelines and will establish reasonable set up
Verifying all first offs on all set ups and continues In Process Inspection
Ensure the work area is set up for smooth work flow ( flow of raw material through the work centre)
Provide all the required instructions, paperwork for new and existing jobs (time sheets, inspection sheets, good approval forms etc.)




Provide continuous improvement ideas for on existing jobs to help facilitate a better process or flow of work

Requirements:
Secondary school diploma
Setting up various CNC machines mills and lathes
Communication verbal and written
Ability to read and interpret blue prints and drawings
Ability to diagnose problems and come up with solutions
