Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Lawn Mowing Technician to join our landscaping team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through mowing, trimming, and landscape upkeep. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a passion for outdoor work. The position offers an prospect to develop skills in horticulture, landscape maintenance, and mechanical tools while contributing to the beautification of residential and commercial properties.
Responsibilities
Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, and other power tools to maintain lawns and gardens
Perform edging, trimming, and pruning to ensure neat and healthy landscapes
Use hand tools for planting, weed control, and soil preparation
Conduct routine landscape maintenance tasks such as aeration, fertilization, and mulching
Maintain equipment by performing basic mechanical repairs and cleaning after use
Support construction or installation projects related to landscape improvements
Ensure safety procedures are followed during all landscaping activities
Experience
Prior experience with landscaping or gardening is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Familiarity with excavators, irrigation systems, horticulture practices, and landscape maintenance techniques is a plus
Mechanical knowledge related to power tools and hand tools is advantageous
Basic understanding of construction or maintenance work is beneficial
Ability to operate gardening equipment safely and efficiently
Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions for extended periods
Job Types: Full time, Seasonal
Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
