Duties
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service to enhance their experience
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
Manage cashiering responsibilities, including processing payments and giving change
Assist with food handling, preparation, and sanitation to ensure food safety standards are met
Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales opportunities
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front counter area
Support guest services by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure efficient service delivery
Follow food safety protocols and sanitation procedures consistently
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and service flow
Skills
Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred
Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices
Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly desirable
Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and transactions
Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently
Experience in food preparation, serving, or hospitality environments is a plus
Effective communication skills for guest interactions and team coordination
Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance
