Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Helper/Carpenter Helper to join our agile construction team. In this role, you will assist skilled carpenters and construction professionals in completing a variety of building projects. This role offers a outstanding chance to learn carpentry, woodworking, and construction skills. You will also help create high-quality builds. The ideal candidate is energetic and eager to learn. They are ready for physically demanding tasks. They keep a positive attitude.

Duties
Assist carpenters with measuring, cutting, and assembling materials using hand tools and power tools
Support the installation of Concrete, walls, flooring, siding, roofing, Tiling, Finishing, and cabinetry
Prepare construction sites by cleaning and organizing materials and tools
Help with installation of tile, Caulking, concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry tasks as needed
Carry out heavy lifting and material transportation around the job site safely
Perform general handyman tasks including caulking, painting preparation, and minor repairs

Requirements




Prior construction experience or related hands-on work in carpentry or woodworking is preferred, but not required. A willingness to learn is essential
Ability to read basic blueprints and schematics is a plus
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions
Solid attention to safety protocols and teamwork skills
Basic knowledge of electrical or plumbing systems is advantageous but not mandatory
Reliable transportation is a must.

Pay: $19.00-$26.00 per hour

Secondary School (required)

Licence/Certification:
Certified Safety Professional (preferred)

Willingness to travel:
