Duties
Perform skilled hair styling services including cuts, color treatments, blowouts, and special occasion styles with precision and flair
Consult with clients to understand their desires and recommend suitable styles or treatments based on their preferences and hair type
Maintain a clean, sanitized work area by following strict sanitation protocols to ensure client safety and hygiene standards are met
Upsell retail products such as shampoos, conditioners, styling tools, and hair care treatments to enhance client results and increase sales
Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, greeting clients warmly, and handling payments efficiently




Communicate clearly with clients throughout their service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly
Stay current with industry trends and techniques through ongoing education to bring fresh ideas to the salon

Skills
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor that makes clients feel valued and comfortable
Expertise in hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring, styling, and chemical treatments
Excellent communication skills to effectively listen to client needs and provide professional advice
Knowledge of sanitation practices to uphold health standards within the salon setting
Ability to upsell retail products naturally while focusing on client needs and preferences
Experience in retail sales within a salon or similar setting is preferred
Capable of managing front desk tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
