Duties
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) or Registered Behavior Analysts (RBAs)
Collect and analyze data on client progress to inform treatment adjustments
Support children during therapy sessions, promoting skill development in communication, social interaction, and daily living activities
Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMRs) documenting session details, progress notes, and treatment outcomes
Collaborate with team members and families to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions
Assist in training and supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) as needed
Uphold safety standards and foster a positive, engaging environment during all sessions
Requirements
Experience working with children in educational, clinical, or care settings preferred
Knowledge of special education principles and child development best practices
Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills essential for working with diverse children and families
Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to behavioral health is advantageous
Ability to accurately collect and record data using electronic systems
Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) is desirable
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases and documentation efficiently
