Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Cook specializing in Chinese and Hakka cuisine to join our Caribbean Restaurant. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing authentic dishes that showcase the rich flavors of these culinary traditions. Your expertise will help deliver memorable dining experiences to our guests, ensuring every meal is crafted with care and precision. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about food, experienced in restaurant kitchens, and committed to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of Chinese and Hakka dishes following traditional recipes and established standards.
Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, sanitation, and adherence to food safety regulations.
Assist in meal preparation during busy service hours to ensure timely delivery of orders.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils.
Support food presentation efforts to ensure dishes are visually appealing and meet quality expectations.
Follow all health, safety,



and hygiene protocols to create a secure environment for staff and guests.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent food service.

Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food handling within a restaurant or food industry setting.
Knowledge of Chinese and Hakka culinary techniques, ingredients, and traditional flavor profiles.
Robust understanding of food safety standards and proper kitchen hygiene practices.
Excellent skills in meal preparation, serving, and food presentation.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours while maintaining attention to detail.
Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team.
Enthusiasm for learning current cooking methods and contributing positively to a team environment.
