This is one-on-one support in a private home. The person you’ll be supporting leads and directs her own care, with caregivers providing assistance, patient reminders, and support with established routines as needed.

She enjoys conversation and getting to know her caregivers, so companionship and being a positive listener are also important parts of the role.

Penticton, BC (Near Cherry Lane Shopping Centre)

Shifts & Hours of Work:
Wednesday 8:00 am to 10:30 am
Thursday 8:00 am to 10:30 am
Saturday 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
We are looking for someone who is available to start as soon as possible

Compensation:
$25.00 an hour

Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):
Assistance with personal care and dressing
Meal and coffee preparation
Light household tasks related to her care
Following established routines and written instructions




Providing patient reminders and support when needed
Communicating concerns or changes to the care team

Required Qualifications:
Kind, patient, and respectful
Reliable and punctual
Comfortable providing personal care
A valuable listener who enjoys conversation and companionship
Patient and comfortable offering gentle reminders when needed
Comfortable learning recent routines and following written instructions
Observant and willing to ask questions when unsure
Respectful of her independence and choices
Previous caregiving experience is an asset but willing to train the right candidate

Pay: $25.00 per hour
