Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Steel Stud Framer / Residential Framer to join our agile construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing the framework of residential buildings using steel studs, ensuring exact measurements and secure assembly to support drywall, siding, and other finishing materials. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life while maintaining safety and quality standards on every project. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse residential construction sites, applying your skills in framing, blueprint reading, and heavy equipment operation to deliver exceptional results.

Duties
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately frame structures according to specifications
Measure, cut, assemble, and install steel studs and framing components efficiently and precisely
Use hand tools and power tools such as drills, saws, levels, and welding equipment to complete framing tasks
Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely throughout the workday
Assist with drywall installation, siding, concrete forming, and restoration tasks as needed to support overall project progress




Operate heavy equipment including cranes or forklifts when required for material handling or site setup
Ensure all framing work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards

Qualifications
Proven experience in residential framing or general construction work with a focus on steel stud framing preferred
Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
Familiarity with drywall installation, siding techniques, concrete forming, and finishing processes
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and woodworking techniques
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy machinery or equipment as needed
Knowledge of construction safety protocols and building codes applicable to residential projects
Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving and quality workmanship
