Job Summary
We are a busy, well-established printing company looking for a dependable Shipper / Receiver / Bindery Associate to join our production team. This hands-on role supports the final stages of printed jobs, including bindery work, packing, shipping, and receiving. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced production setting.
Key Responsibilities
Bindery & Finishing
Operate basic bindery equipment (folders, stitchers, laminators, etc.)
Perform hand-finishing tasks such as collating, folding, and packaging
Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
Shipping & Receiving
Prepare jobs for shipment, including packing, labeling, and documentation
Receive and organize incoming materials and supplies
Coordinate pickups and deliveries with couriers
Maintain a clean and organized shipping/receiving area
General Production Support
Assist press and production staff as needed
Follow job tickets and production schedules
Maintain a protected, clean, and organized work environment
Qualifications
Previous experience in a print shop, bindery, or warehouse workplace is an asset
Comfortable using computers and willing to learn new systems
Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and digital instructions
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Comfortable standing and working with hands for extended periods
Willingness to learn and take on a variety of tasks
