Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Head Chef to join our team and lead our kitchen staff. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence, robust leadership skills, and a creative approach to menu development. We are a place that focuses on British style food, we are very busy in the summer and then slower in the winter. Our outdoor capacity is 120 seats, and our indoor sitting is 60people. We often accommodate larger groups so having knowledge in being able to handle larger tickets is beneficial.

Duties:
Scheduling
Oversee all aspects of the kitchen operation, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Providing social media content.
Develop and maintain menus that meet quality standards and customer preferences
Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes and food safety regulations
Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
Collaborate with management to plan and execute special events or menu changes
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen setting

Qualifications:
Proven experience in a similar role within the food industry




Solid leadership and team management skills
Knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety standards, and restaurant management
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Certification in food safety is a must
Supervisory experience in a kitchen setting
Familiarity with hospitality industry practices
Proficiency in food service techniques
Understanding of food safety protocols

Pay
Salaried $70,000 - $80,000 year depending on experience
Tip out: weekly based on hours worked
3 weeks vacation
