Role Summary:
We are seeking skilled banquet servers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry and enjoy providing exceptional customer service.
Skills/Competencies Qualifications:
Two (2) years food industry experience, preferably in the wedding & events industry, or a major hotel or event venue.
Strong knowledge and understanding of all aspects of food & hospitality sector.
Must be an effective self-leader with excellent organizational abilities and excellent interpersonal written & oral communication skills.
Confident with the ability to act calmly during adverse and unexpected circumstances.
Effective at problem solving and decision-making with good insight and judgment.
Strong initiative and client service orientation.
Ability to use sound judgment, discretion and skilled integrity.
High energy, positive, professional attitude, pride in work.
Available for evening and weekend work.
Must be able to multi-task in a busy workplace, often with distractions.
Must have own transportation to and from work.
Applicant must currently reside in Canada as a landed immigrant or a Canadian citizen.
